weekly update

we had a lot happen this week. tile and countertops are finished, plumbing fixtures were installed and last night, lighting was installed. here are a few pics from this week.

kitchen island is black with a pure white Nano Glass. a brand new technology that is so amazing and looks absolutely beautiful.

backsplash was installed. it is a oversized beveled subway tile. hand glazed in spain and looks so great. we did the delorean gray grout

master bath has square kohler sinks with chrome danze widespread cross handled faucets. two sinks on the black master bath vanity with carrera marble countertops.

master shower is vertically installed porcelain tile in a light gray color.

downstairs secondary bath is for guest suite as well as the "public" use restroom downstairs. black vanity and wrought  iron colored moen faucets. floor is graphite gray and the shower is the light gray color run horizontally.

master  step in oversized shower

upstairs bath, oversized two sink vanity with alabaster white vanity, plenty of storage, danze chrome faucet.

upstairs shower, white subway tile, with delorean gray grout, arched ceiling is also covered with the subway tile. chrome danze tub spout and shower.

stain was finished and looks amazing, large timber beam overhead, handrails, mantle and doors are all stained the same color, english chestnut.

oversized gooseneck pull out spray faucet in stainless color with an oversized Blanco brand single basin sink. the sink it is made of silgranite, 80% granite super non-porous and no middle divider making stacking of pots and pans easy during cooking. very scratch and stain resistant.

my last blog post showed most of the lighting but i am just so excited that it actually has light and is so amazing looking with the coffered ceiling and the can lights inside each square and the oversized fan looks amazing and space worthy.

the oversized park place pendant from minka lavery is jeremy's favorite light. i must say, it does look incredible and provides such great light over the island for cooking, the under cabinet lights are xenon lights not fluorescent lights so it is a really clean light.

i am using edison bulbs in the lighting, where i did mostly clear glass to really show off the edison bulb theme.

view of dining room linen rectangular pendant and the two glass sconces with edison bulbs. i cant wait to find an amazing rectangular dining room table to put underneath it.

the exterior can lights are great for illuminating the entire house, and they are all on an automatic switch that has our GPS locator  so they come on automatically at dusk.
